More about Alina
Alina Filipe Nunes is passionate about pelvic health, research, and advocacy. With over 13 years of clinical experience, she continually updates her knowledge to provide evidence-based, effective, and compassionate care for her clients.
Having lived with pelvic pain herself, Alina understands the physical and emotional impact of these conditions. This inspired her to create The Pelvic Tuner, a volunteering and mentoring platform supporting people with pelvic pain and physiotherapists managing conditions such as incontinence, sexual and pelvic pain, anorectal disorders, and prolapse.
Her mission is to create a safe and supportive environment where people can address their pelvic health concerns and embrace life fully.
Outside of physiotherapy, Alina loves music and dance, often spending her free time performing or practicing.
